Locally – the Costcutter shop at the top does hot food.

Pota our local café does lovely lunches and has a great bakery and an local artisan food section.

Garai Glas – you will find on the main road near Tir na nOg pub – organic salad and vegetables and an honesty stall.

The café at Casla does great breakfasts, scones, and huge fish and chips.

The Hooker bar about 20 minutes drive does pizzas.

Spiddal our local village has lots of restaurants and a café Builin Blasta at the Ceardlann Craft Centre. Particularly recommended is Runda the food truck hidden away between two buildings near the petrol station – lovely coffee and fantastic selection of cakes and sweet treats.

Barna has several places to eat Nourish and Barcella for breakfast and lunch, The 12 Hotel bistro and Donnelly’s pub.

Galway Market is on Saturdays – not very big but check out the crepe van run by the lovely Mick – also Goya’s in Kirwin’s Lane has the best vegetable soup and lemon meringue pie you will ever have.
